Got the unique opportunity to design and build aluminum soccer guards for people in powerchairs. When I began the project, I had no idea how great an effect it would have. It was simply amazing. I worked closely with the main organizers, Madison and Paul, to design and fabricate the guards for each chair. OMG, who knew there are so many different versions of chairs. We found some design efficiencies, but many had to be custom made. The first night we debuted them was unforgettable. Everyone has a competitive spirit, whether you're in a wheelchair or not, and soccer lets you express it. Fun.
